Ruth and Az held their wedding at St Edmund’s School in Canterbury, which sits on the same hill as the University of Kent that overlooks the cathedral city. The historic archirecture of the school buildings and the extensive grounds and views make it a unique wedding venue in Canterbury, and the ideal backdrop for the kind of Canterbury wedding photography I enjoy. Making sure family, friends and supporters all appeared in the picture-story of their day was clearly important to the couple so with a mixture of composed group shots and ‘documentary style’ informal photography, I made sure this happened. For other examples of Canterbury wedding photography, and my work as a Kent wedding photographer in other locations, have a look at my website gallery.
