One of the great things about location photoshoots and portrait sessions outdoors during the summer is that you have more hours of daylight, so this recent shoot started at 8am because that’s when the sun would be low, cool and nice (whereas at midday it’s high, hot and horrible). Except the sun decided not to show up. But just as I would do for a commercial or editorial shoot, the light was created artificially to simulate what the sun would have done for us. It was a really fun session and the couple were delighted with results of their portraits. If you’ve got an idea for a location session and would like to chat over why not get in touch or look at some more of my work first at timstubbings.co.uk
