Lighting hair – different from lighting portraits in that the face is not the main point of interest (although some hair shots do look like portraits). The lighting tends to be sandwich, directional with grids, snoots and other modifiers to control direction. The attached shots show a studio portrait session where a model is lit from the front vs a location hair salon shoot for Robert Mitchell where the model is lit from the sides.
