Classic portrait photography on location in Kent or at the studio in Canterbury
Classic portraits have a deliberately art portrait or artistic look and feel to them.
The creative elements come from a choice of location, background, clothing and lighting. They’re calm and quiet in their tone, and, similar to a painting, they contain enough detail to want to come back and look at them time and time again. They’re thoughtful and designed to show a personality and character.
Although best suited to one person, they can be adapted for siblings, couples and friends. Children and young people photograph well with this style and it’s not expected (nor possible!) for anyone to sit still for long periods of time. It’s down to my skills as a photographer to capture the right moment.
Prior to a classic portrait session, we’ll agree in advance how best to bring all of the elements together. You can enjoy classic portrait photography on location in Kent or at the studio in Canterbury.
All of the sessions offer a unique gift experience for a teenage son, daughter, grandchild, or for couples as a treat. Sessions can be bought as gift vouchers and make a great present for birthdays or Christmas.
Your initial payment covers the session fee and the time to carefully process and prepare the files ready for you to make your final selection to purchase wall art, frames, prints or books.
Classic portraits* – 1-2 hr session, includes a £30 print voucher and Facebook shares – £250 inc VAT.
*I offer portrait photography in Kent and beyond but travel is charged as extra if your favourite location is outside of Canterbury.
The finished pictures are designed to be viewed at a good size and to be displayed on a wall (and that’s why we suggest a scheduled viewing is a great way to see them for the first time). There’s a range of high quality books and wall products for your home which can be purchased separately or as part of a collection from £195.Please get in touch for full pricing as well as gift voucher information.
