Photography workshops and courses in Kent
I don’t think we ever stop picking up something new, and I’ve been fortunate enough to share some of what I’ve learned over the years with photography students and amateurs of all ages.
The first resource for you is the blog or my Facebook and Instagram feeds where I posts comments and free photography tips and information about how particular pictures were taken. Please search the blog under the category “training”.
I also offer some training and tuition options for you to explore which are listed below.
1-2-1 training is now increasingly popular and you can decide how long or short it can be – from short boot camp sessions to something more in depth.
There comes a point with our learning when structured courses are not what we need. 1-2-1 sessions are flexible and allow you to decide on the content, duration and location. You get to ask all of your questions, when you want to and in the order in which you need to get the answers.
Portfolio critique and business consultancy also available.
Camera Skills Workshops
Camera Skills Workshops “Why drive an automatic when manual is more fun?” Camera controls; ISO; exposure; get the technical stuff nailed.
Ok, so you’ve a new SLR camera but it frustrates you. Or you’ve been taking pictures for a while and there are a few techniques that you wish you could nail. Come on a camera skills course and have a unique opportunity to ask all of those awkward questions – not just theory but hands-on practice and learning.
LOCATION: Whitstable, Canterbury, Faversham
Creative Courses – Going Deeper
After a 1-2-1 or a Camera Skills Course perhaps you can try a more in depth creative workshop – control natural and artificial lighting, experience a real studio set-up or perhaps you want to overcome the nerves of shooting your first wedding? We’d love to hear from you.
GOING DEEPER: The Complete Wedding Course (a real venue and a bride). Off-camera flash techniques; Studio Lighting; location portraits.
